Since 2004, nothing but bad luck! I have two beautiful little girls. Me and my ex husband separated in 2004. So for the first year after my daughter who was 3 had a LOT of trouble in daycare. In 2005 she was diagnosed with ADHD/ODD. She has since been kicked out of two daycares and has been on multiple medications. Now we seem to have one that works for her. I have been in Therapy for her since 2004. I was threatened w/ getting fired b/c I had taken so much time off of work for appts. Last year I started having issues w/ my younger daughter who is now 4. Again I got trouble at work b/c of smedical appointments. This year we were kicked out of another daycare and I had to find them a new one. When this happened the girls were visiting w/ their dad who lives in another state. My ex molested our youngest at this time. Again I’m getting in trouble at work b/c I have a million medical appts. I’m single, no child support and can’t lose my job. There’s a ton of other issues
First I’m in the Navy, so can’t quit, can get kicked out but don’t want to. I would love to sit at home and be w/ my babies all day but I just bought a car and do not want to be on welfare. Thank you though I know it’s an option, have just come so far in life to go back. I do believe that MOST kids shouldn’t be on medicine. However, when my daughters not on medicine she’s broken a teachers nose, totally destroyed my house, hurts her sister and the list goes on. Oh and I don’t leave my kids alone but a single mother needs to cook dinner and such. I have no family here and one friend who’s not any help. My new car has so many problems, my ex is pending trial and has a no contact order w/ us so the douche bag took that as don’t pay child support. (we only have a verbal agreement) and I am getting state assistance for daycare otherwise it’s 2/3 my paycheck. (daycare is 1300.00 a month. 1,700.00 for summer time!
Not sure how to respond to one post on here I’m new. But this is to That Judi. I’m not sure if you read all of my post but we are all in counseling. I have 6 different appointments for me and the girls for therapy. Also, not sure if you know about military salary but I’m not high in rank and where I live a sitter cost $10-$12 an hour and a live in one forget it! I have a two bedroom (Navy issued) house. That’s what I’m “entitled to”. And for the concerned citizen guy dude, in 2004 me and my ex split. I was stationed in England UK and in ’05 we moved here. My ex was the primary care giver and that’s how my daughter got ODD b/c of the trama from losing her dad. Now the girls will NEVER see him again and all I can do is love them. I think prayer is the answer here. Thanks to everyone!
