Rednecks, explain to me how soccer is socialist, European, not a sport, homosexual, anti-American, etc.?

1. European. Its origins are disputed, and presently it is popular well beyond the prosperous, capitalist democracies of Europe, e.g., Switzerland, Ireland, Luxembourg, Belgium, Germany, Denmark, as one can find it being played all across Africa, Latin America and Asia.

2. Socialist. It brings in millions each year, its players are amply rewarded in a free-market system, so how is it socialist? Is it because it requires the collective, but so does basketball!

3. Not a sport? It involves running and kicking non stop for ninety minutes without the frequent time outs that happen in American football. Also, how many obese soccer players do you see in FIFA as opposed to the NFL? Sounds athletic to me. Also, yes, they don’t use their hands, but do you not watch sprinting in the Olympics because they only use their feet?

4. Homosexual? Sorry if soccer doesn’t feature wide receivers, tight ends, spandex, slapping one another on the bum, crouching down before a man bending over, wearing makeup and carrying names like “Packers” and “Giants”.

5. Anti-American? I still can’t figure this one out when it’s one of the most widely played sports in American schools. Last I heard it wasn’t invented by Karl Marx and it really doesn’t seem to interfere with the free market very much.

I can understand people who don’t like soccer b/c they find it boring. Fine. But how is it that they don’t complain about NASCAR, televised poker tournaments, golf, baseball and bowling, just soccer?

What would you tell a lazy room mate?

I have 2 room mates (a married couple) that live with my husband and me. The husband works, but the wife does not. They literally live paycheck to paycheck, and cannot afford anything. -My hubby and I had to pay to have their cat put to sleep b/c it was suffering. Anyway, the wife almost refuses to get a job. I took her job searching back in July and her excuse now, is that “No one calls her back.” It’s been 6 months! Of course no one is calling her back! The thing is, I also paid for her to get a legal I.D. so that she can fill out applications. (She has no drivers license b/c she let it expire over 4 years ago). She doesn’t do any housework unless I tell her to do so. She doesn’t clean up after her cats (unless I tell her to). And her husband tells her to find a job, but she cries when he tells her to do so. I’m okay with the fact that she doesn’t have a job, and they live check to check… long as the bills are paid! But what bothers me, is she sleeps during the day and is on the computer all through the night playing World Of Warcraft. She doesn’t have a car, so she can’t really go anywhere far to look for work. But where we live, there’s a million places to work for, she’s just too lazy to get dressed and walk down the street. What should I tell her? Is there any way around this without making her cry? She doesn’t do any house chores… I do it all! And I shouldn’t have to keep reminding her b/c she’s 29 years old!!! I’m not her mother! Please help, and any suggestions would be great. 10 points to best answer!

Proof that evolution is a hoax…?

Recently, a thought captivated my mind that proves that the theory of evolution is a big hoax. The thought is simple and yet profound … why is there no recorded history before approximately 4,000 B.C.? The answer is obvious … there was no history! Think about it! Evolutionists claim that man evolved over billions of years (that’s billions with a “B”). If there were any truth to these false claims by unscrupulous scientists, then man’s historical record should span back at least hundreds-of-thousands of years, if not millions.

There is no record of a cataclysmic event that destroyed mankind prior to 4,000 B.C. And if there were, surely some of the survivors would have passed this information down to generations to follow. The Bible dates creation, as we know it today, at approximately 4,000 B.C. Thus, it was approximately 6,000 years ago that God, Jesus Christ, created the heavens and the earth in 6-days. It was 6,000 years ago that Jesus Christ spoke the stars into existence. It was 6,000 years ago that Jesus spoke animals, fish, plants, and land into existence. And it was 6,000 years ago that God formed man out of the dust of the earth.

Such Biblical claims seem absurd to modern evolutionists, who have convinced themselves that the earth is billions of years old. Ironically, they have absolutely NO EVIDENCE of such longevity. Evolutionists have sought out dishonest scientists, who distort the facts, use faulty testing methods, and make erroneous assumptions (unethically stating such assumptions as if they were facts). Evolution is at best still a THEORY. Yet, children are brainwashed in godless public schools all across the world, with evolution, which is taught as if it were a fact. This is evil. It is evil to deny students the Biblical account of creationism. The Word of God makes infinite more sense than the fairytale of evolution.

One of the simplest and best proofs that evolution is a joke, is the FACT that there is NO recorded history prior to 4,000 B.C. The world’s history is CLEARY defined by SIX world powers since time began: Egypt, Assyria, Babylon, Medo-Persia, Greece, and Rome. Since Rome’s fall in 476 A.D., there have been no world-powers (many super-powers; but, no world-powers). At the time of Moses, Egypt ruled the world. The Israelites were used as slave labor by Pharaoh to build the pyramids. Before Egypt, there is absolutely nothing recorded in history about a world-power.

It is NO coincidence that Revelation 17:10 speaks of these world-powers, “…five are fallen, and one is, and the other is not yet come; and when he cometh, he must continue a short space.” At the writing of Revelation, Rome was still a world-power. The Apostle John, under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit, tells us that Rome is the 6th world-power, and there is one more to come. The 7th world-power will be the beast system, the kingdom of the antichrist. This diabolical New World Order is quickly forming now (i.e., a universal religious view, global centralized government, a one-world economic system, a cashless society, etc.).
@First, no the Bible doesn’t disprove science, it disproved evolution from other species. Only micro-evolution is observed, but none of the other forms of evolution. Next.
@Kim rum: no, I didn’t disprove dinosaurs. It is possible that God put them on earth before to give confirmation to their future masters or God could have used the earth for one of His projects. No one knows except God.
@Aggy: No, there is no solid concrete evidence for that. You would listen to anything science tells you. The chinese, kurds, and whoever who cares? When did they ever conquer and dominate unto this age? None. The biblical passage stands as solid evidence. Just your assumption any atheist can pull out of his/her ass. k thx.

1) Writing had to be invented. —-There doesnt have to be writings. A caveman could bang on a rock and there is no evidence.

Religions: who created Evil…………………….?

I mean God is so called loving and Holy,right? so how did evil come? Lucifer??? I know this already. before Lucifer, who created evil..? How did it even existed? was there another God besides the God people know and understand? evil can’t just exist out of no where.. something must cause or allow to poof right into existence, don’t you think? just like when He said ” let there be light and light was” A God can only poof something out into existence out of nothing and in its originality.., Only He can create something and everything first hand and therefore He probably poof evil out into existence too, am i right? but that would seem very odd in our ears and mind, b/c we know God as the Loving and Holy God, and No evil is found in our Almighty God..!!! the only explanation to this is that, Our well Known God is not alone, there are more Gods or He/they exist not…!
the main point here is that EVIL cant exist in heaven and/or earth if it didn’t come from anywhere..!? and the original inheritor can’t be lucifer/satan…!!?? for there should be no place or chance of evil to creep in the heavenliest,if heaven was nothing but perfection. we the humans have this evil traits and blame satan for it and call him the original of sin, but who gave satan? and why did it even exist in the first place…. pure water cant turn into wine unless someone did the very first act to turn it into wine..? for millions and millions of years the sea water never turn sweet, unless God did it, right?
so.. it’s the same thing in heaven, evil can’t originate from Satan’s, if,no one created it or speak it into existence— unless God was too bored and wanted to play with us, so He started his monopoly/chess games in heaven and bring it down to mankind..? if you think that God didn’t create evil but satan, prove it to me by your precious scriptures. I just find it hard to believe that evil originate from Lucifer/satan… nothing existed can originate from anyone unless it came from God/creator of all that exist- either by human/angels personality or physical things that our 7senses can prove its existence. our personality comes from the image of God too right?? peace and much love…. :) so… evil must also come from God or no God at all. no existence of any real God but all positive energies within/around us.

“The Bush administration felt it had to act fast to explain America to the Arab world. So it began spending about $100 million a year on a U.S. government news channel in Arabic. It’s called “Al Hurra,” meaning “The Free One.”

The workers at the news station don’t even know what is being said b/c it is all in arabic!

Is it right for the U.S. government to be spending hundreds of million of dollars on this and we don’t know what’s on this channel?

Question about the idea of being taxed to help or “spread the wealth”to minorities…?

My dad makes $130,000 a year after taxes. My mom works at a vet office as a receptionist and makes like $16,000 a year. lol. The house hold income is to high to get Finial aid for Me,my sister, and my brother. If my dad didnt have those “welfare taxes” taken out of his middle class income he would have that to help his own kids. So I was saying, “How come they dont have the people one step above us get taxed to now help us “middle class” who for some reason are thought to be well off. Then the people above them are taxed to help them, and the people above them are taxed.” But then I thought. That doesn’t make sense. You would be like, getting back what you gave. That’s stupid. Why don’t the guys making 10,20,30,40,100 million dollars a year just get taxed? Or taxed more? There children will be taken care of, if their spoiled little brats ever even have to work a day in their life!! >[

There life path, a lucky one if you ask me, lead them to this opportunity's of wealth. Doesn't mean they work any harder then my dad. Or that they, or their children deserve more then me. Or you. If this was the case, There would be less debt on the average person, which was one of the major problems in this economic down turn. Mostly b/c the cost of living has gone up and so has the average price of college, which is almost one of the only ways to get a good job that can lead to a good salary. You will be able support yourself and your maybe future family, and not have to have another situation that leads another household that needs welfare\, aka, our tax dollars. If people had more opportunity to do this then welfare taxes would go down. I know a lot of people who live on welfare b/c they had to settle for a lower class income b/c they couldnt afford tuition or even get a loan. This is where a group like ACORN would step in. But there would be no need for ACORN, or any other unsupervised organizations if the Financial Aid was guaranteed and came straight from a government education fund, funded by the tax dollars of People who spend that one years worth of taxes on a trip to France where buy another useless $20,000 Versace dress to wear once. Do you see what mean? If I was worth 30 million dollars I would not be bothered by such a tax b/c it would be going toward something good. Putting money back in consumer pockets. So they have money to buy stuff from my company so now I have more money in my pocket. See how this idea makes the money and the economy go round? But makes it not go round? People who don't want to tax the rich, yeah not you $80,000 a year south Carolina businessman. NOT YOU.
That will help other people get the opportunity to maybe one day "make it"

If you find this idea "stupid" please find a more intellectual way to oppose me.

Atheists, does this disprove evolution?
